BRAND DEVELOPMENT

Concept

Background

When social paradigms are shifting, communication concepts are bound to reinvent.

My approach to branding is iterative, dynamic, and interdisciplinary. It ensures optimal integrity in product development and brand communication.

Design thinking and agile project management methods define my brand building process.

I develop comprehensive strategic concepts based on deep knowledge, market research and user psychology analysis, completed by visually appealing cohesive design elements.

Strong academic and professional background in PR, branding, marketing, social psychology, cultural dynamics, entrepreneurship, digital media spaces and human-computer-interaction.

PORTFOLIO STRATEGY

Focus

Integrity & Value

Considering every aspect of a brand's portfolio is what adds meaning and value for the ideal customer base. Understanding your target market and users, paired with tailoring your portfolio strategy to meet those dynamic requirements is key to leading a successful brand in the long run.

As a vital part of your brand strategy the portfolio should adhere to the two most important factors in todays business - integrity and sustainability. Therefore understanding the complexity of product and service design and its intersections with branding and marketing is essential for creating a unique portfolio that solves customers' problems and makes for loyal followers.

If we translate the design slogan "Form follows function" in terms of brand positioning - how a brand communicates that function (the portfolio) into form (the UVP mix) to the end-customer is substantial.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Research & Analysis

UX Design

Iterative, cross-disciplinary design approach, deep understanding of user behavior, and knowledge of design principles and usability best practices define my UX practice. My design process is based on a strong academic background in digital media, HCI, cognitive psychology, qualitative & quantitative research methods, statistics & predictability methods. UX ideation, the creation of UX artifacts, and the development or optimization of products are driven by real user data and deep analysis.

Further qualifications in graphic design and 3D enhance my UI design skills. For wireframing and prototyping I use Figma, InVision, Proto.io, Whimsicle, Framer, etc. Continuous learning is part of the process for me, so I'm always curious about new methods and tools, as well as their fast facilitation and incorporation into my design practice.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGY

Positioning

Specifics

Effective communication is a key factor in agenda setting and positioning.

Whether it is a matter of brands, products, users, brand awareness, crisis communications or just keeping a smooth project flow in cross-department operations - constructive dialogue is the best practice.

Content design and channel specific communication require a tailored strategy and deep knowledge and understanding of the media channels, the processes and the stakeholders involved. To ensure smooth and effective communication strategies for my clients and their target audiences in an everchanging environment I research and analyze the market dynamics and evolving socio-cultural trends on a regular basis.

MARKET & COMPETITION

Research

Analysis

Research and analysis are essential for brand strategy, product positioning, portfolio and change management. Sustainable business development is rooted in informed decision making.

Qualitative & quantitative methods, as well as statistic & predictability methods define my market research practice. Analyzing current macro-/ micro-economic and political development trends represents additional insight and adds value to the research output.

Tailored competitor analysis enables data-driven managerial decisions, and effective change management action plans in selected areas of development or optimization. The focus on accuracy, value-add-analysis, as well as short turnaround times is especially important for any business.
